Barbed Wire Disease

Let's be truly, fully, and completely honest here. Conforming is so difficult to prevent. I mean, it's almost integrated subconsciously into us. Obviously...that's what culture does to you.
It's an issue. But the thing that I'm most concerned about is this idea that people get that compels them to want to "beat" others at some crazy 'well my life sucks more than yours' game. There's like this complex push inside of most individuals minds that is so competitive -- so utterly determined to "win", that they create and over dramatize suffering.
But then, hypocritically, no one finds good outlets for their distress.
     It's like a ridiculous mess-of-a-cycle.
I'd like to focus the attention onto this quote by Viktor E. Frankl:
"When a man finds that it is his destiny to suffer, he will have to accept his suffering as his task; his single and unique task. He will have to acknowledge the fact that even in suffering he is unique and alone in the universe. No one can relieve him if his suffering or suffer in his place. His unique opportunity lies in the way in which he bears his burden."
A bit harsh, right? But that's what I love. It's true -- Frankl boldly makes the statement that we are all truly alone. And that is definitely not what people want to hear.
But Frankl proposes that suffering is a task. It's an expectation. A duty. And to conform to such a society that feeds off of the downfall of everyone -- that utilizes personal pain against those surrounding, including oneself....it gets a bit crazy.
Sorry, this is pretty extreme. I apologizeeee
BUT. Whether you are like one who finds themselves living with a deep feeling of meaningless to existence, or whether you are creating and manifesting intense emotions, it doesn't matter. What matters is how you utilize your presence, how you protect what you say, and what you put out for others. But just do it in your own way. Find what to do for yourself, but don't neglect finding ways to do things for others as well.
And that's just a confusing mess as well.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
